Vote for our Community Project

Vote for our Community Project

Wow! An impressive 22 community projects located in the Port Macquarie electorate made it through to the voting round of the NSW Community Grants Program – My Community Project! How fantastic to see many of these located in the Camden Haven!

Vote for Working Bees for your Community

We are super excited to be the sponsor for project ‘Working Bees for your Community’. This innovative project has been shortlisted as one of the NSW Government’s My Community Projects in the Port Macquarie electorate. Raw honey produced from local beehives will be sold at fundraising events, by not-for-profit organisations, within the beehive postcode area.

If you have a few minutes, make your vote count. We would love your help.

Why should you vote for this project?
– Bees are great for the environment and under threat; this community project uses rescue bee swarms to populate its hives.
– Pure raw honey is a very healthy natural product – and a great alternative to sell as a delicious fund-raising item.
– All profits generated from locally produced raw honey from bees working in the community go to local community not-for-profit organisations.

How to vote?
If you live in NSW and are 16 years or older, you’ll be able to vote for the projects in your electorate. Cast your vote online here.
